Eric is also co-author of US Patent 8918725 for systems and methods to support real-time chat rooms on mobile devices. Eric studied mathematics at University of Waterloo.

A Thinking Ape is one of the most successful independent studios, with multiple titles hitting top 20 grossing in the US iTunes and Google Play store. Wilkins is also a managing partner at Exponent Ventures, a firm founded by Y Combinator alumni that builds and invests in early-stage technology companies. Wilkins graduated from University of Waterloo in Computer Engineering.
